ÖZGE MERİÇ

Founding and Managing Partner Özge has been head designer and project lead on many architectural projects of different scales and typologies in many different parts of the world, including the United States, the UK, Brazil, Russia and Spain as well as her native Turkey.

Özge continues to offer her services in architecture, construction, consulting drawing on her BIM expertise and her broad interest in design, crafting, art and technology.

Before founding Studio OM in 2023 with Nedim, Özge participated in various architectural projects in Istanbul, Barcelona and Berlin as part of her education.
From 2012 onwards she worked for various architectural offices working on local and international projects before going on to becoming on of the founding partners of degostudio in 2016.

Born in Istanbul in 1990. Özge graduated from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University with a degree in Architecture. In 2012, she continued her studies in Berlin. After graduation, she began working on her master’s degree in architectural design at Istanbul Technical University.

NEDİM AĞALAR

Nedim is one of the founding Partners and serves as Principal managing the healthy growth of Studio OM. His responsibilities include business strategy, client relationships, and contract negotiations.

With a decade’s worth of experience on the business side of architecture and construction and with project management, process management, strategic planning and business analysis know-how gained over the years working in New York, London and İstanbul, Nedim continues to oversee the development of Studio OM and its strategic priorities.

Born in London in 1980, after graduating from Robert College, Nedim graduated from Colgate University with a major in International Relations in 2005.
